Andria is one of the Shifting Isles, originally to the east of the single landmass before the Breaking of the World. Once under Ceynesian rule, Andria became its own monarchy, ruled by a king and a parliamentary House of Lords. Ranking below the king, in order, are princes, dukes, marquises, earls, viscounts, barons, baronets, knights, merchants, and peasantry.
Though in constant movement due to the shift cycle, Andria stays mostly just north of the equator, giving it cooler temperatures year-round.
The geography of Andria is mostly low hills to the west and south, having broken off from mountain ranges there in the Breaking of the World, while the rest of the Isle is plains and farmland, with little in the way of forested areas except in the northern regions.
The people of Andria are mostly of fair skin and dark hair, though those features aren’t nearly as severe as that of the Falsiners. In the upper classes, most marriages are arranged, though tending toward love matches as time progresses.
